About NEET UG Exam

According to the most recent update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the NEET application form. NTA will administer the exam for more than 20 lakh applicants. The information brochure and the application form has been published. The information bulletin will cover topics including exam eligibility requirements, application process, fees and more.

Those who submit their application forms on time will receive the admit card, which they must have appearing for exam. Students are required to bring a printed copy of their hall ticket to the exam location. It should be mentioned that no applicant will be permitted to access the exam center without the admit card and a legitimate ID evidence. NEET UG will be administered by the NTA in a written format from 2:00 PM to 5 PM for admission to nearly 1 lac MBBS, 27868 BDS, 52720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH seats. The exam pattern states that there will be 200 questions on the examination, although candidates only need to answer 180 of them.

The question paper covered biology, chemistry, and physics. 4 marks will be granted for every right answer in the exam, 1 mark will be subtracted for every wrong answer, and no marks will be granted for any questions that remain unanswered.

The answer key and question paper will be made available by the authorities within the few days after the examination. A scorecard including the results will be made public. Applicants can download the NEET 2025 scorecard by providing their date of birth, application number, and security pin.

The NEET cutoffs for the previous year were as follows: 162 for the General category, 127 for the SC/ST/OBC category.

Students who pass the exam will have the opportunity to take part in the counselling procedure, which will be administered by the Medical Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counseling process for admission into 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 85% State Quota, deemed universities, central universities, private institutions, AFMS/ESIC institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutions will be executed based on the results.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility requirements for the exam explain the requirements that applicants have to fulfill in order to be eligible for this medical UG program. NEET Eligibility Criteria for NRI and Foreign Students

Applicants who completed their secondary education abroad must meet the requirements. For NRIs and foreign students, the last examination they must pass should be the same as the one required for a Class 12 education in their home country. In addition to passing the qualifying examination in English, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and passed both the theory and practical exams in each of these fields.

  • Foreign nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are all eligible for admission to medical and dental colleges, according to rules and guidelines established by the relevant State governments, educational institutions, and the Indian government, as applicable.
  • In order to verify what they claim to be an NRI or OCI, aspirants have to submit a certificate from the relevant Indian diplomatic mission in their home country with their completed online NEET UG registration form.
  • Compared to this, a foreign candidate for the NEET must also upload Documents Proof in support of their nationality, along with their online registration form. Examples of this proof include important pages from a current passport or a certificate from the appropriate agency in their home country confirming to their nationality.

NEET Application Process 2025

 The NEET application  process has been started. Applicants can use the NTA’s official website to submit an online application. You can pay the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test application fee online via a credit card, UPI, debit card, and net banking.

The following are steps required to complete the application form:

Step 1: Registration- Register for the exam through visiting neet.nta.nic.in and providing the necessary details, including an active mobile number and email address. The application number will be generated after the submission of the required information.

Step 2: Submit the Application form – Once your registration has been approved, return to the NTA website and log in using the candidate login tab. When you have accessed the application form, enter the required details, including personal and educational details

Step 3: Documents Uploading- In the final step, submit scanned copies of your ID, your signature, and any additional documents that comply with the requirements described in the prospectus.

Step 4: payment of registration Fee – Use any online method of payment to pay the registration fee like UPI, Net Banking, Credit Cards, or Debit Cards which one you want.

Step 5: Taking Printout – Candidates are required to save a copy of the notification page confirming the success of their registration or payment.

NEET Application Correction Window

Applicants can modify the application form by  correction window, which NTA will make available after registration closes, to fix any mistakes that they identified in the application. Modifications and edits will be allowed using the login details. The correction option will be a once-only opportunity.

NEET Question Paper 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) publishes the question paper, Optical Mark Recognition sheet, and answer key. Through the official website of NTA, students can download the NEET question paper PDF Format by signing in with their login information. It is important that students solve the previous year’s papers in order to improve their preparation for the undergraduate medical examination. Candidates can get a better understanding of the difficulty level by solving the questions paper of the previous year’s exam.

NEET 2025 Exam Pattern

According to the NEET exam pattern 2025, the examination will be 3 hours long and feature paper-pencil based (PBT). There will be 200 questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the examination, of which 180 must be answered correctly. 

There will be 4 possible answers for each objective-style question with multiple choices. Mark the correct response option on the OMR sheet by using a blue or black ballpoint pen to color the related circle. Every subject will be divided into two parts, with a total of 35 and 15 questions, according with the exam pattern and structure. In Section B, candidates must attempt 10 of the 15 questions, but in Section A, all 35 questions must be attempted. Mock Test for NEET Exam 2025

One of the most important parts of preparing is taking NEET mock tests. Candidates can practice for the exam by taking mock tests from multiple sources on the NTA website.

Using mock tests is an important action in NEET preparation. Only by preparing with previous year’s examination questions, mock tests, and the like, can one perfect what they have learnt. Candidates can use the NTA website to prepare these NEET mock tests, or they can download the tests to complete at home. The NTA has also allowed the practice of sample papers at TPCs, which are the more than 2900 test preparation centers located in the closest colleges in the majority of cities and towns worldwide.

Candidates who want to practice at the NEET TPCs need to sign up, book a date and time, and visit the college. These practice tests will use questions from previous exam question papers as their basis. Scores are not provided because the purpose of the mock tests is just preparation. These assessments can, however, be used to evaluate how the real exam will appear and feel.

NEET Syllabus 2025

Many changes have been made to the NEET syllabus.  The NTA claims that students will be able to more effectively organize their studies if the NEET syllabus is made available before the information pamphlet or registration form. However, the chapters are not divided into Class 11 and Class 12 sections as they were in previous years. Also, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry are the three sections that comprise form the NMC NEET Chemistry syllabus. All three subjects now include less portions and topics than before, but specific subjects have also been included.

NEET Admit Card 2025

The NEET admit card will be made available approximately 1 week to four days earlier than to the exam, which is scheduled for the 1st May 2025. The NEET UG admit card, available in PDF format, will be officially available online. Exam Center for NEET 2025

Exam centers for NEET UG are likely to be extended to more than 500 different locations in India and abroad. NEET was carried out in 14 foreign countries and 499 Indian cities last year. There were more than 4,000 exam locations in total. It is expected that there will be different centers overall compared to those from last year, with the goal to taking on applicants from more regions. Candidates will be able to choose two exam cities of their selecting and NTA will choose the exam center based on their choices. NTA will provide an advanced notification to exam city slip with the name of the allotted exam location before releasing the admit card, which would list the final allotted center. Following the selection of the NEET UG exam center, candidates won’t be allowed to ask for another location.

NEET Result 2025

The third week of June will see the announcement of the NEET UG results. The results will be made available online as scorecards. Through online login, candidates must get their NEET scorecard 2025 in a Portable Document Format (PDF).

NEET Cut-off 2025

The National Testing Agency will announce the NEET cutoff 2025 in alongside its result. The NEET cutoff regards to the minimum scores or marks that applicants must obtain to be qualified for the exam and to take part in the counseling process. According to the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (1997), a candidate must get a score equal to or higher than this the minimum percentile for the applicant to be eligible for admission. This cutoff score has been established by MCI.

NEET exam qualification have been accepted by 702 Medical, 323 Dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc & AH institutes in India. NEET Counselling Process 2025

The Medical Council’s (MCC’s) online counselling for NEET includes choice filling as well as choice locking. Candidates who allocate seats on the basis of the counselling process for NEET UG have to appear at the allotted college by the given time. All India Rank of candidates, Colleges selected, Seats availability, Seat reservation requirements etc. will be taken into account for the distribution of NEET seats.  NEET counseling will be available in two option.
