Registration for KCET 2025 opened on January 23, 2025, and applications will be accepted until February 18, 2025. Candidates can apply online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for the test, which is set for April 16–17, 2025. View the Complete News
The official KCET website, kea.kar.nic.in, has also released the exam dates and comprehensive syllabus for 2025.
The exam dates have also been posted by KEA on their official website. Between April 16 and April 17, 2025, the test is planned. Pen and paper testing will be used for the Karnataka CET exam.
Two shifts will be used for the exam. The morning and afternoon shifts are from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM, respectively. While the biology and math papers will be given on April 17, 2025, the physics and chemistry exam will be given on April 16, 2025.

What is KCET?
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the state-level entrance exam known as the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or KCET. The purpose of this entrance exam is to grant qualified applicants admission to various undergraduate programs in Karnataka.
Karnataka CET, Kar CET, KEA UGCET, and K-CET are other names for the test. This test covers professional courses such as MBBS, BDS, BVSc, BSc Nursing, B.Tech, B.E, B.Pharm, B.Arch, and some other UG courses Both government and private educational institutions provide the previously mentioned courses.

For Other Courses Applicants are required to apply for the KCET exam:
- Medical, Dental, and AYUSH (UGNEET): Candidates must register for CET-2025, fill out the application, and pay the fees in order to be eligible for counseling.
- Architecture (NATA): Admission is based on NATA scores, but candidates must register for CET-2025, fill out the application, and pay the fees in order to be eligible for counseling.
- BPT, BSc Allied Health Sciences and BPO Courses: PU scores are used for admission; there is no entrance exam. However, in order to take part in counseling, candidates need to register for CET exam, fill out the application, and pay the expenses.
Eligibility Criteria For KCET Exam 2025
For the KCET exam, different undergraduate programs have distinct eligibility requirements (medical, dental engineering, pharmacy, veterinary, and nursing). The comprehensive qualifying requirements are listed below.
- For BArch: Candidates must have passed the class 12th or equivalent exam with English as one of the languages, and received 50% (45% for reserved category) in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as 50% overall in all subjects at the class 12 or equivalent exam.
- For BE/BTech: Candidates must have passed the Class 12, or equivalent test with English as one of the languages and received at least 45% of the possible points in mathematics and physics, as well as chemistry, biotechnology, biology, electronics, and computer.
- For Farm Science courses: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam, or an equivalent test with biology, chemistry, physics, and math as electives.
- BVSc & AH and Naturopathy & Yoga: For Yoga, Naturopathy, and BVSc & AH candidates must have A minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (or 40% for reserved categories) is required of candidates who pass Class 12.
- B Pharma: Candidates must have received at least 45% of the possible points in all subjects—physics, chemistry, and biology—and have finished Class 12 with either Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. (40% for candidates in the reserved category) or earned a 45% grade on the Pharmacy Diploma. 40% of candidates in the reserved category must come from an organization recognized by the Indian Pharmacy Council.
- D Pharma: Candidates must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy exam from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, or they must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
How to apply for Karnataka Common Entrance test?
Step 1: Applicants must visit at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ to access the KEA website.
Step 2: Click on the “UGCET-2025 Online Application”
Step 3: Click on the Registration for New User option.
Step 4: Enter the necessary information, such as your password, mobile number, and uploaded photo.
Step 5: The registered mobile number will receive an OTP for validation. Candidates will receive an SMS on their registered mobile number with their Application Number and User ID.
Step 6: Click on the “Proceed to Login for Registered Users” option.
Enter your user ID, password, and OTP to log in.

Make the required changes and log in again using Face Recognition or OTP if repairs are required.
Step 8: Verify the declaration and make the payment if no adjustments are needed. Pay the application fee by choosing the payment gateway.
Step9: Click the Final Submit button once all the information has been verified.
Step 10: After final submission applicants must take the final printout along with the Claim Certificate/Claim Details for future use.

KCET Admit Card 2025

KCET Result 2025
