About SIT Engineering Entrance Exam
The SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) is administered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Every year, it is held for admission to the engineering program at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), the Symbiosis Entrance Test-A (SET A), the Symbiosis Entrance Test-B (SET B), or the SIT Engineering Entrance Exam are the three tests that candidates must take in order to enroll in any of the University’s undergraduate degree programs.
The regular, mandatory Computer Based Test (CBT) is a prerequisite for admission to Symbiosis International’s (Deemed University) B.Tech programs. Eligibility Criteria SITEEE Exam 2026
For Indian Applicants:
- Students must have finished class 12 or its equivalent exam, and they must have taken physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or technical vocational subjects in addition to the required courses in mathematics and physics.
- For pupils in class 12, the minimal cumulative grade is 45% (or 40% for applicants in the reserved category).
- Age or the number of attempts are not barriers to participation in SITEEE.
For International Applicants
- To be eligible as an international student, students must fulfill SCIE’s standards.
- Physics, math, and one of the following subjects—computer science, information technology, biotechnology, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, informatics practices, agriculture, engineering graphics, or business studies—must have been completed in class 12 or its equivalent exam.
- Students must have earned at least 45% of the potential points in class 12 (or 40% for applicants in the reserved category).
Important Note:
- Both the SET/SITEEE test 1 and test 2 are open to applicants. The higher score will be taken into account for the final percentile calculation if a candidate takes more than one test.
- There will be no normalization. To ensure that various question types have been arranged under a specific subject throughout the question papers, a strict procedure that has been statistically verified will be used. Candidates who want to take one or more tests won’t be unequally advantaged due to the average margin.
- This will ensure that the questions are distributed uniformly throughout the sections. The question papers will also be modified to account for the different levels of difficulty of the two tests.
- No application will be entertained in this regard. As of 2018, “SET General” and “SET-Engineering” have been renamed the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and the SIT Engineering Entrance Exam, respectively. The procedures listed below are used to register for different tests via the same portal.
- Verify that the data you submitted is accurate. No changes will be permitted under any circumstances after registration. Candidates are solely responsible for submitting accurate information during the application process.
- SIU has the right, in accordance with its policies, to withdraw an application or admit a candidate at any time if it turns out that any of the information they provided on the application form was inaccurate. Any attempt, direct or indirect, to influence the Institute’s staff and management will automatically disqualify the application.

Upload a current, passport-sized, color photo when registering online. Your photo must be no more than four months old in order for it to match the one you uploaded during registration.
