The date of the XAT 2025 exam is January 5, 2025. Applicants must complete the application form prior to the deadline if they wish to take the test. The deadline for XAT 2025 registration has been moved to December 10, 2024. 110 cities in India will host the exam. This year, the XAT test has been shortened to 180 minutes and the Essay Writing portion has been eliminated. Analytical essay writing will be a component of the XLRI admissions process in 2025. In addition, there are now 20 questions instead of 25 in the GK portion. The XLRI selection procedure will also assess the candidate’s GK performance.

About the XAT
For admission to MBA/PGDM programs, XLRI, Jamshedpur administers the national-level management entrance exam known as the Xavier Aptitude Test, or XAT. 250 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programs, including MBA, PGDM, and Executive MBA, in addition to XLRI and ten other XAMI member colleges.
One hundred multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering decision-making, verbal and logical ability, quantitative ability and data interpretation, and general knowledge make up the XAT exam. XAT 2025 Eligibility Requirements
Graduation: A three-year bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in any field from an accredited university is required.
Minimum Marks: In order to apply for the exam, there is no minimum aggregate score requirement for graduation.
Age: There are no upper age restrictions to take the XAT.
Students in their final year: As long as they graduate by June 12, 2025, and send their test results to the appropriate colleges, final-year students are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Count of Attempts: The number of times a student can take the exam is unlimited.
